I sit here today thinking about my faith. Where is your faith? I ask because I question my faith when things don't go my way...what do you think? My faith is in the hands of Jesus Christ but sometimes I have to wonder. I know I shouldn't wonder but let's get real and be honest, why do things happen the way they do? I struggled for the longest time why GOD allowed me to go through life the way I did? Growing up with a father that physically, mentally, and sexually abused me was no walk in the park. I grew up scared and not feeling worthly. I felt UNIMPORTANT!!!! Think about the word IMPORTANT! What does it mean to you? I didn't think important would be such a powerful word but in my world IMPORTANT is powerful. Imporant means to me is to be appreciated, to be hugged, to be told great job, to be told I Love You, success, helping others, giving advice, and looking beyond my imperfections. Important goes a long way but for so long I could not say the word because I felt embarressed and thought I would not be worthy of being important.

Today made me think of the word IMPORTANT. I am currently experiencing some family issues and the law. My thoughts are is my family not IMPORTANT enough?
